Codis Promotes Steven Facer to Chief Commercial Officer

Codis, a global contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), has appointed Steven Facer to the newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

The introduction of the CCO role reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening global commercial alignment and ensuring that Sales, Marketing, and Business Development operate with a unified focus. As Chief Commercial Officer, Facer will lead this integration, bringing these teams together to enhance customer value, deepen market engagement, and accelerate business growth across all regions.

Facer joined Codis in October 2025, bringing more than 30 years of leadership experience across pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and packaging. His global career spans senior executive roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific, ACG Worldwide, Capsugel, Catalent, Colorcon, and most recently, Adare Pharma Solutions.

Facer’s expanded remit builds on his proven leadership within the organization. Under his guidance, the Commercial function now spans team members across the United States and the United Kingdom, combining diverse expertise in customer engagement, market strategy, and commercial execution. This structure positions the company to respond more effectively to customer needs and to pursue growth opportunities with greater coordination and clarity.

Codis also made three strategic appointments within its Business Development function earlier this year.
